ABSTRACT
The oribatid mite genera Arcoppia (Oppiidae) and Cavernocepheus (Otocepheidae) are recorded for the first time in Guatemala. Two new species—Arcoppia tumulosa sp. nov. and Cavernocepheus longicristatus sp. nov.—are described. Identification keys to the known species of Arcoppia from the Neotropical region and to the known species of Cavernocepheus are provided.
