Dr. Atef Mohamed Khedr Nassar is an Associate Professor of Pesticide Chemistry and Toxicology, Department of Plant Protection, Faculty of Agriculture, Damanhour University, Egypt. He finished his B.Sc. and M.Sc. studies at Alexandria University, Egypt and the Ph.D. degree at McGill University, Canada. He is involved in studying the adverse effects of pesticides on humans and non-target organisms. In addition, he is trying to find new alternatives to pesticides including nano-formulations of currently used pesticides and natural products to minimize the quantity of pesticides applied to the environment. He published many research articles in peer-reviewed and highly impacted scientific journals in the field of pest management, pesticides residue analysis, and pesticides toxicology.
Dr. Chetan Keswani is a Senior Post-Doctoral Fellow in the Department of Biochemistry, Institute of Science, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India. He has keen interest in regulatory and commercialization issues of agriculturally important microorganisms in Asia. He is an elected Fellow of the Linnaean Society of London, UK and received Best Ph.D. Thesis Award from the Uttar Pradesh Academy of Agricultural Sciences, India in 2015. He is an editorial board member and reviewer of several reputed agricultural microbiology journals. For his editorial endeavors he was awarded the Publons Top Peer Review Award in Agricultural Sciences in 2018. He has edited 8 books for leading publishing houses including CRC Press, Springer-Nature and CABI. Currently, he is working on the development of antimicrobial secondary metabolites from agriculturally important microorganisms as next generation biocontrol agents. During 2019 he reviewed over 17 papers and handles 32 assignments.
