2For his biography, see Muḥammad Ṣādiq Fayz, Mīrzā Yūsuf Khān Mustashār ad-Dowla Tabrīzī, Yak kalima wa yik nāma (Tehran: Ṣabbāḥ 1382/1962). The translators simply add 621 to convert hijri dates to miladi dates in some of their footnotes (e.g. 1382/2003). The reader should be careful about this error.
