Abstract

The rising inequality of wages since the 1970s is by no means the only way the U.S. workforce is bifurcating. Inequality is showing itself in tenure, benefits, and job satisfaction, among other factors. These two sociologists comprehensively canvass the research and portray a nation split in two.
