Joanna Beata Michlic
Joanna Beata Michlic is Visiting Professor of Holocaust and Contemporary History at Lund University and Honorary Senior Research Fellow at the Department of Education, Practice and Society, University College London (UCL). Her research focuses on the social and cultural history of Poland and East European Jewry, and Holocaust memory and nationalism in post-Communist East Central Europe. She is particularly interested in ethnic violence, gender, childhood, and individual and collective memories of traumatic events and dark pasts, including the Holocaust.
