  • In 1981 several key pieces of petroleum legislation were passed by the Danish Folketing (Parliament). The more important of these are Act No. 293 of June 10, 1981, on Use of the Danish Subsoil (the Subsoil Act), Act No. 291 of June 10, 1981, on Establishment and Utilisation of a Pipeline for Transportation of Crude Oil and Condensate (the Pipeline Act), Act No. 292 of June 10, 1981, on Certain Marine Installations (the Marine Installations Act), and Act No. 175 of April 28, 1982, concerning Taxation of Income Originating from Production of Hydrocarbons in Denmark (the Hydrocarbons Taxation Act).
