Review Note

Pages 201-221 | Published online: 08 Jun 2015

  • This reviewer suggests that political cronyism has survived throughout the decades. but has simply changed its form. Venezuela is on all relevant corruption scales quite close to the top. This indicates that public ownership has probably increased. and not reduced, the incidence of corruption.
  • On this. see the first comprehensive and detailed legal analysis of the compatibility of OPEC production quotas with the GATT/WTO rules by Melaku Desta. 2002 (forthcoming).
