Holocaust Studies: A Journal of Culture and History is pleased to announce the launch of the Holocaust Studies Journal Prize which rewards the best research article published in the preceding year. All articles published in that year's volume are considered for the prize. Holocaust Studies' publisher, Routledge, awards a prize of £500 to the author(s) of the winning article. The journal is delighted to name Magdalena Waligórska and Ina Sorkina as this year's winners. Their article, "The second life of Jewish belongings: Jewish personal objects and their afterlives in the Polish and Belarusian post-Holocaust shtetls", was selected for its original contribution to the field.
