Celebrating ten years of Territory, Politics, Governance
Ten years ago, in the inaugural issue of Territory, Politics, Governance, the vision of the journal was set out clearly and concisely: ‘The intersection between the three words in the journal’s name defines the central purpose of the journal: to publish and encourage research on territorial politics, spaces of governance, and the political organization of space’ (Agnew, 2013, p. 1). To mark the 10th anniversary of the journal this year, the editors have compiled this virtual collection by selecting ten articles that represent the range of research published in the journal to date. This virtual issue is prefaced by a special 10th-anniversary editorial, which reflects on the origins of the journal and key themes for the future.
