The journal covers both empirical research into the origination and transmission of knowledge and normative considerations which arise as such research is implemented, serving as a guide for directing contemporary knowledge enterprises.
Peer Review Policy:
All research articles published in this journal have undergone peer review, based on initial editor screening and anonymized refereeing by at least two referees.

Philosophers, sociologists, psychologists, cultural historians, social studies of science researchers, political theorists, and education researchers.
