CUFA is an affiliate group of the
National Council for the Social Studies. If you are interested in joining
CUFA you must also join or already be a member of the
National Council for the Social Studies. You can join online or download a membership form

[email protected] . Membership dues are $60 for regular membership and $15 for student membership. With membership you receive our official journal
Theory and Research in Social Education.
CUFA consists of a really nice and thoughtful bunch of higher education faculty members, graduate students, and others interested in working with social educators (k-16) such as social scientists, historians, and philosophers. As well as being an advocacy organization for social studies education.
CUFA conducts its own program and business meeting during the
NCSS Annual Conference.
