AnneMarie K. McClain (PhD, University of Wisconsin–Madison) is an assistant professor of media science in the Department of Mass Communication, Advertising, and Public Relations at Boston University’s College of Communication. Her media uses and effects scholarship places a primary focus on exploring how media – and conversations around media – can be used to promote positive outcomes for children and families, especially marginalized children and families.
