Abstract
The most crucial factor in the internet-based environment is the encryption and security of personal data. In this paper, a key exchange protocol based on Generalized Decomposition Problem (GDP) over semiring is proposed. The security and complexity analysis of the proposed protocol is examined. Also, based on the proposed key exchange protocol, an ElGamal cryptosystem for securing Sensitive Health Information (SHI) in Healthcare systems is presented.
