Sean Jefferson studied Kinesiology and Family Studies at Kansas State University, received his doctoral degree (PhD) in Educational Psychology from the University of North Texas, and is currently an Assistant Professor at California State University Northridge. Monica Padilla Vega studied Family and Consumer Sciences at California State University Northridge. She is currently working as a liaison for a non-profit organization in Los Angeles that serves individuals who are economically disadvantaged. Kimmery Newsom studied psychology at Kansas State University, where she also received a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy, in addition to a doctoral degree (PhD) in Family Studies. She has been working with individuals and couples for over 18 years as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
