This brand new, fully open-access journal builds upon the rich legacy of pioneering astrophysics and astronomy research publishing at Taylor & Francis, which commenced 225 years ago with the foundation of Philosophical Magazine. Advances in Physics: Astronomy, Astrophysics and Particle Physics joins the well-respected Advances in Physics group of journals which have themselves developed from Philosophical Magazine.

Advances in Physics: Astronomy, Astrophysics and Particle Physics is a leading fully open-access journal for the communication of peer-reviewed, high-quality original research, including full and short articles, review articles and data notes. The journal focuses particularly on new and emerging fields of research across a broad spectrum of areas including cosmology, high energy / particle physics, space science, astronomy, and astrophysics.

Taylor & Francis are currently supporting a 100% discount on article publication charges (APCs) through 2024: there are no fees to pay through 2024.

Peer Review Policy

All submitted manuscripts are subject to initial appraisal by the Editor-in-Chief, and if found suitable for further consideration, will be peer-reviewed by independent and anonymous expert referees. All peer review is single-anonymized.
