The International Society for Digital Earth, in collaboration with Taylor & Francis and International Research Center of Big Data for Sustainable Development Goals, are pleased to announce the winners for the 2023: Best and Outstanding Paper Awards. For the 2023 award, papers published online between 1 January and 31 December 2023 were evaluated by the Journal Award Committee. They selected two papers as ‘Best Papers’ and awarded one the honour of ‘Outstanding Paper’ for the year.

We are pleased to announce that the paper entitled City Digital Twins: their maturity level and differentiation from 3D city models by Homa Masoumi, Sara Shirowzhan, Paria Eskandarpour & Christopher James Pettit has been selected as the Outstanding Paper for 2023.
