Journal overview

Editorial board

Through its Monograph series, the Palaeontographical Society publishes taxonomic work on the fossil fauna and flora of Britain and Ireland. Large works are published as multiple part monographs.

Authors intending to write a monograph for publication by the Society should initially contact one of the editors (Yves Candela and Peter Crowther: [email protected] and [email protected]), giving the proposed title, together with a brief statement of the scope of the work, the approximate number of taxa and estimate of the number of typescript pages, plates and text-figures, including the proportion to be devoted to non-British or Irish material.

Once the title has been accepted by the Council of the Society, authors should prepare their monograph following the 'Notes for Authors' (if the monograph is a new title) or conform in the style of previous parts (if the submission is to be part of an ongoing monograph).

The typescripts are then peer-reviewed by expert referees.
