Journal overview

This  journal has ceased (2006).

Quality Assurance is an international peer-reviewed quarterly, publishing original papers on quality principles and procedures applicable to all fields of science, especially the biological, physical, environmental, and engineering sciences.

Of particular interest are articles that promote an understanding of the scientific, regulatory, legal, and international harmonization issues that are germane to reporting information of adequate, known, and documented quality and assisting with its properly-informed use in decision-making.

Articles are encouraged that address the integration of data quality (e.g., QA, QC) issues , regulatory compliance (e.g., GxP) issues, quality system optimization (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean), accreditations and certifications, ethical conduct, and data presentation to ensure that data users can 1) trust the integrity of the reported information, and 2) properly interpret the reported information in the context of its intended use.
