Complex Metals: An Open Access Journal publishes original, insightful and significant studies concerned with the physical and chemical properties, syntheses and structures of metal complexes. The scope includes the following areas of research:

  • Coordination chemistry
  • Organometallic and catalytic chemistry
  • Main group chemistry
  • Bioinorganic chemistry
  • Supramolecular chemistry
  • Materials chemistry
Investigations will typically include synthesis, structural and spectroscopic characterisation, although studies focusing on the possible applications of metal complexes will also be considered.

In addition to full articles and reviews, preliminary communications of results (up to 1000 words) may be submitted for consideration.
 
Peer Review
 
All manuscript submissions are subject to initial appraisal by the Editor, and, if found suitable for further consideration, to peer review by independent, anonymous expert referees. All peer review is single blind and submissions can be made online at http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/tcme/.

To cover the costs of open access publishing,  Complex Metals: An Open Access Journal charges an article publishing fee at an introductory discounted rate of US$500 / £385 / €440. More information about Taylor & Francis article publishing charges can be found here
