Firms and Innovation
Section Editor(s): Chahir Zachi
This section welcome papers that apply economic models to datasets at the firm level and those that specifically cover the innovation approaches of firms and institutions and its influence on both the economy and society. It also welcomes papers that offer insights into the implementation of innovation and aspects related to the global spread of knowledge. How do firms envision the processes of innovation, how does innovation influence a firm's competitiveness and performance, or to what extent is the regulatory framework affecting innovation, are relevant questions of study. Understanding how innovation is undertaken, strategies for appropriation, and the dissemination of knowledge on a global scale are also suitable topics.
